I think going into my twenty-first year of business is almost as exciting as the anticipation of my twenty-first birthday! But I can honestly say that I wouldn’t want to turn back the clock. My business is in a good place, just like I am.

This is the last blog about my 20 favorite projects. The year has flown by! You’ll have to let me know if I should highlight 25 of my favorite projects in the year 2026. I will say it wasn’t easy choosing ONLY 20, especially after 20 years filled with AMAZING projects. I’ve loved them all! And, more importantly, I’ve loved helping my clients transform their houses into homes.  I can’t think of anything better than witnessing their excitement when the installation was complete.

Project #18

The gold silk swags with bullion fringe in this project are definitely one of my favorites. I created these in my early days and my client still loves them. Everything about the swags is classic and elegant, from the color to the the silk fabric to the style.

Project # 19

This is a more recent project, proving that trends do come back around! I love the sweet, embroidered linen fabric of the kitchen swags. I wish you could see them in person!  The living room and kitchen swags really complement each other, with the design as well as the fabric. The styles are similar, with the living room swags a little dressier, adding elegance to the room. Don’t they frame that large sliding glass door beautifully? We used hardware with the same finish and style for both rooms, another element that complements the style.

Project #20

The white window treatments in this master bedroom are functional as well as beautiful. First, the color really works in this room. The white linen drapes and the complementary white roman shades are blackout lined, blocking out more light for sleeping in later. The traverse rods for the draperies are amazing. They make it easier to open and close such wide and heavy drapes. There are two walls of triple windows in this master bedroom. The roman shades are cordless for a cleaner look and are also very easy to operate. The absence of hanging cords is much safer for kids and pets too!

Well, that’s a compressed version of the last 20 years. 21, here I come!

Have a wonderful holiday season!
