I am a professional, reliable, and passionate window treatment expert. I help homeowners create a warm and inviting environment by dressing their naked or outdated windows. We all know that NOT having window treatments is like not wearing any jewelry when you put together a great outfit!
My goal is to make the process easy and enjoyable. Instead of sending you from store to store to collect swatches, I bring everything to you, including fabrics, trims, hardware, and motorization options, so you can see how it all works in your space. There is no guesswork, no overwhelm, just expert guidance and a curated experience that’s all about your home, your style, and your peace of mind.

I’m passionate about helping you create a home that looks and feels just right. Whether you're aiming for cozy and comfortable or clean and sophisticated, I take the time to understand your priorities, needs, and style, bringing over two decades of design and fabrication experience to your project.
There’s nothing better than seeing your face light up when the vision comes to life, and again when your custom window treatments are beautifully installed. One of my favorite things to hear is “Wow - what a difference this makes!”
My love for sewing started early, thanks to my aunt, who helped me and my cousins make tiny Barbie clothes from her stash of fabric scraps. She probably did most of the sewing at first, but I was hooked. Summers were filled with sewing projects, and Home Ec was hands down my favorite class. I went on to study Textile Studies at Syracuse University as I knew this path was meant for me.
When my kids started school, I traded Barbie doll dresses for custom drapery and window treatments. I officially launched Ronica’s Custom Creations in 2001, and I’ve been designing and fabricating beautiful draperies, pillows, and bedding ever since.
The window treatment world always evolves with new fabrics, hardware, trims, and motorized options. I stay on top of the latest innovations through continuing education, industry associations, and active participation in online and local design communities in Knightdale and Raleigh.
When I’m not meeting with clients, sewing, or on an installation, I love spending time with my family - especially my sweet granddaughter, who brings us so much joy!

Ronica’s Custom Creations is dedicated to preventing accidents involving children and pets by raising the awareness of the dangers of accessible cords and by providing child-safe custom window fashions. Blinds and shades that are improperly installed or out of safety compliance can pose a potential strangulation hazard to young children. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, corded window coverings are among the top hidden hazards in American homes.
