My Inspiration
From my earliest days, sewing has been a cherished skill that has shaped my life's journey. It all began when my aunt kindly taught me how to create clothes for my beloved Barbie dolls. During my visits to my cousins' house, we would eagerly delve into my aunt's collection of fabric scraps. With her patient guidance, we learned to lay out patterns and cut the fabric pieces, although I must admit she did most of the sewing at that time. Nonetheless, I was captivated by the process. Seeing the finished outfits and adorning our Barbies with them brought immense joy.
As the years passed, my passion for sewing only grew stronger. Summers became filled with exciting sewing projects, fueling my desire to learn more. It was during my time in high school that Home Economics became my favorite class (remember those days?). I knew then that I wanted to pursue a college education in a field connected to sewing.
With great determination, I pursued my dreams, ultimately graduating from Syracuse University with a degree in Textile Studies. This academic journey further enhanced my knowledge and expertise in the world of fabrics and sewing.
Today, I am thrilled to share my passion and expertise with you. I believe in the transformative power of fabrics and design, and I am dedicated to creating beautiful and meaningful creations that bring joy to those who have my designs.
